Our commitment to Inclusion

At Apollo our people are at the core of everything we do and we are committed to creating a truly inclusive workplace culture, one where everyone is welcome, included and can thrive. We know that we are at the beginning of our journey, and that there is still much to do, but we have made a great start.

This year we became the first organisation to sponsor all six of the Inclusion@Lloyd’s Partner networks, have set up our first network of Apollo Inclusion Champions, we have become members of ENEI – the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion and EIDA – the Employers Initiative on Domestic Abuse and have partnered with SEO London to provide internships for students from low socio-economic backgrounds.

David Ibeson and Julian Cusack, the Chair of the Apollo Board, have also become Ambassadors for RATL – the Race Action Through Leadership initiative which was launched earlier this year.

OUR benefits

We have a great benefits package which includes 26 days holiday, private medical and dental care, 10% non-contributory pension, life cover and income protection, an employee assistance programme,mental health coaching sessions, loans for working from home and also season tickets.

We also offer twelve months parental leave, six months of which is paid at 100% of pay for the first 12 weeks and 50% of pay for the next 14 weeks,for all new parents as a day one right and by all parents, we mean all parents – Mums and Dads - however you come to be a parent including adoption and surrogacy.

We also offer up to two weeks additional paid leave per year, again as a day one right, which covers caring for dependants, fertility treatment, pregnancy loss and miscarriage, family bereavement, menopause and andropause, domestic abuse safe leave and gender affirmation leave.
